Panasonic Astrova

Designed with passenger engagement in mind, Astrova reflects the latest on-the-ground technology, making the transition from passenger’s personal devices to in-flight entertainment seamless.

The challenge was to create the future of airline passenger engagement while managing the tough constraints inherent of commercial aviation. Lightness, cleanability, repairability and updatability were at the core of the design thinking. Satisfying airline’s customization needs was critical, achieved by offering a modular peripheral bar system and ambient lighting features, allowing to create unique lighting moods throughout the cabin.
